The Cycle of Self-Improvement

[linkstandalone]
There's a certain cycle that seems to repeat with me. I attempt self-improvement
then I work on it for a while, improve a little but end up falling into old habits

Perhaps watching self-improvement youtubers has given me a warped view of how things should be but its
very discouring not seeing results and feeling like you're running into the same wall over and over

But on the other hand if I look at myself at age 16-18 and compare to now there's some immediate improvements in hygiene, socializing, goal-orientation, drive and self-sufficiency.
I'm not perfect, no person will be and perhaps its more important to look back at how far you've come.

Just a thought as I sit here trying to plan for tomorrow.
